Two Sundays ago we had our annual Primary Program. I was kinda nervous how Max would do. He is a good kid but has a lot of energy. I was prepared to sit by him or something but to our surprise he did a good job. He had a sticker on his chair that he played with the entire time. It could be seen on his nose, forehead, check, etc. but he did a great job on his part and singing. Brayden talked about being baptized and Kenzie read a scripture. Justin and I enjoyed sitting next to each other. We are very proud of our kids.Monday, September 29, 2008
Primary Program
Two Sundays ago we had our annual Primary Program. I was kinda nervous how Max would do. He is a good kid but has a lot of energy. I was prepared to sit by him or something but to our surprise he did a good job. He had a sticker on his chair that he played with the entire time. It could be seen on his nose, forehead, check, etc. but he did a great job on his part and singing. Brayden talked about being baptized and Kenzie read a scripture. Justin and I enjoyed sitting next to each other. We are very proud of our kids.Flag Football
One of the many things we've been keeping busy with lately is football practices and games. Brayden is loving flag football! His position is the mighty center. He is so excited because Justin, Glen, and Jeff all played center. It has been fun to watch his little team. So far we haven't pulled off a win but hopefully one of the last two games we can win. They have an awesome coach and Brayden is loving flag football.
I've been bad at taking pictures lately! McKenzie has begun dancing again. She has been in ballet the last 2 years so she was glad we found a dance class up here for her. She is doing a tap, ballet, and jazz class. She is enjoying the variety!Max is enjoying preschool. I am doing preschool with two ladies in our ward. He really enjoys the social aspect of preschool. His Birthday (Sept 1) is the deadline also for school. He could go to Kindergarten next year, but I am leaning towards holding him another year so he won't be the very youngest in his class.
Justin is VERY busy with spud harvest! He is also busy trying to be patient with his wife during this whole home building experience. I vent to him then he complains to the contractor since I am a chicken. Poor guy (Justin). We start digging our spuds on October 10th. I am constantly amazed at how many jobs/responsiblities my husband has. It doesn't matter what is going on at work he juggles everything so he doesn't miss the kids events or takes the kids out on the tractor so his wife can go to Womens Conference. We are very lucky to have such an awesome Dad!
Life is good! I've been busy driving the kids to and from school, preschool, dance, scouts, and football. When I have a minute I go paint the house. I also just got called as the wolf/bear leader. What a fun calling! The boys are fun to work with.
This home building process only has a few weeks left. Hallelujah! When I was driving home from Women's Conference I decided I'll really miss our view in Roberts of the mountains! It is gorgeous, the sunsets are amazing. Our family is anxious for the next few weeks to be done so we can move into our home!

Home Building Updates
So here is a picture of the house just after we got the rock put on. I am pretty excited how it turned out. I get so nervous making all these decisions-I fear everything won't look good together etc.
Here is some of the siding with rock etc... It is coming along.
Here is a view from the other side. We are going to stain the 4 posts when we stain our front door so they will be the same color. We have trailers parked in front of the house so I am only able to get side views.Inside we've painted and we just need to do some touch-up painting and a couple accent walls-which I'm sure it will be more time consuming than I could imagine. I need to remind myself when I have the desire to paint again, I really don't like it, especially taping.
Our tile is going down right now. The master and upstairs bathroom are done. We hired those bathrooms to a professional. This week we'll work on the kitchen floor, laundry room, etc...all the stuff on the floor.
Well football practice is over so I better get the kids rounded up....more home pics soon.
Happy 4th Birthday Max!
I can't believe my little guy is 4 already!!! Max turned four September 1st. He had a fun Birthday! Grandma and Grandpa Murdoch drove up and spent the night with us and celebrated his Birthday the next day.
Max is extremely hard to take pictures of right now, he doesn't want to pause for 5 seconds to take a picture.
Max is so much fun to be around, we appreciate what he adds to our family. Max has a way of making us all laugh. We love him very much! Max we hope you had a good Birthday, and thank you for being our little buddy!First Day of School!
Our First Grader
Our 3rd Grader
School started for the kids on August 21, 2008. Brayden and McKenzie are both enjoying their new school. Their teachers both seem really nice. It is now a couple weeks into school and they are still loving it. Max and I miss them, especially Max he asked numerous times in the day when it is time to go get the kids. Since we are living in Roberts I drive the kids to school, it is keeping us busy, but I am glad they enjoy school!
