Thanksgiving 2011

We had a really nice Thanksgiving, we are really thankful we were able to spend it with our family.  We have truly been blessed with wonderful family and friends.  We went down to Utah to spend Thanksgiving with the Murdoch family.  Grandma and Grandpa Mecham also joined us for dinner, the kids thought it was awesome being able to spend it with both Grandparents.

This year we did not find any great Black Friday deals we wanted, so we just relaxed at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  The kids were all able to go on a horse ride with Grandpa up in the foothills.  We were able to spend almost a week in Utah.  The kids always love playing and spending time with their cousins.  One evening we had Chinese food and had some fun playing 'Just Dance' at Glen and Katherine's.

The girls decorated cupcakes for Jack's birthday and the boys went shooting out west.  We all had a great time, and were able to relax and have fun!  Sunday before we left we were able to go visit with Grandma Glenda.  We had a great week and are very grateful for such a wonderful family.

O Christmas Tree!

Haley found a tree for us awhile back on a good sale and called to see if it would fit in our living room, as you can see it just barely fits, but we love it.  We can't wait to decorate it!  We set it up before Thanksgiving to make sure it would fit in our home.  Thanks Haley, we love our new tree!

Festival of Trees

To start off our Holiday season we decided to attend Idaho Fall's - Festival of Trees.  We had a fun evening looking at all the trees at the festival.  Max and Kenzie were able to visit with Santa - then we headed to Jalisco's for some dinner.

Saturday morning Justin and I had the opportunity of helping deliver trees for the festival.  We had a great morning and enjoyed setting up trees in homes around the valley.

Girls Weekend 2011

Every year all the Murdoch girls head to Park City for Girls Weekend. We shop, go to dinner, talk, eat, laugh, catch up and just have a great time. We ate dinner at Ruby River then we head back to the hotel for girl talk.  It is a lot of fun catching up with everyone, I have the BEST family!

Mom, Katherine, Haley, and I always stay an extra night-one night is never enough.  Since I drive down from Idaho we figure we should make the most out of the weekend.  I have the best mom and sister-in-laws in the world - we have so much fun together.  I really wanted to get a hair cut before going down, but ran out of time so I decided to have a little Park City make-over.  I got a hair cut, colored, and straightened my hair.  Fun change!  We made cards, played games, got awesome manicures and pedicures, and had a great weekend!  I LOVE Girls Weekend and I can't wait till next year!

Happy 10th Birthday McKenzie!

Wow!  Is McKenzie really 10?  We are SO lucky to have McKenzie as our daughter!  She is the best helper ever-always asking what she can do to help.  I love and appreciate her help.  She is very thoughtful and a very caring daughter and friend.  Notes of thanks are often given to each of us by McKenzie.  McKenzie has a strong testimony and is not afraid to share it, I love her for this.  I love our girls days together, she is almost my shoe size (I am excited, she has good taste).  Most of all we love the spirit she brings into our family.

Kenzie is ALL girl.  For her party we had pizza and veggies, played "Just Dance", and Freeze Dance, decorated cupcakes, and had fun.  The boys all hid in my room too many girls in the house for them.  We surprised her by having my good friend Brittany Foster make her a birthday cake.  She was really excited, she always looks at pictures of Brittany's cakes.  The cake was darling, we didn't want to eat it.  Thanks to Brittany for making such a beautiful cake on such a crazy week!  McKenzie we love you and we hope you had a wonderful 10th Birthday!
