McKenzie's Birthday Weekend!!!

Our good friends the Lameroux family came to visit us from California! We had so much fun visiting and playing with them. Friday night we went to Leo's Place to celebrate Kenzie's upcoming Birthday. The kids had a blast, and the adults had a great time too. The Anderson family enjoyed the evening with us at Leo's place also. We are thankful for such great friends! After exhausting the kids the Mom's headed out for their much anticipated GNO. We had a blast at Olive Garden with the Grant ladies!

Midway Elementary Halloween Carnival

The kids had a fun time at the school's annual Halloween carnival. The highlight of the carnival for my kids was the pop ring toss. We came home with 6 liters of soda! No Diet Coke, but the kids were pretty excited. Our good friends the Nelson's came to enjoy the carnival with us. Max was Spiderman, Kenzie was several things for Halloween-vampire, fairy, and princess, and Brayden was a football player. I painted Max's hair red for the carnival since he could not wear a mask in the school---bad idea his scalp is still red!

Last Post Season Game

Football season is over, but I thought I would post some pictures of Brayden's final post season game. Rigby had a wonderful game and creamed their opponent.

Mecham in the middle holding his guy back!
Brayden is in the middle of the host of red players. Three guys trying to bring him down.
Brayden putting pressure on the QB, that is why the three guys in the above picture are on Bray! Go Brayden!
Brayden #46 off to get the QB again!

Mecham hustling back to the team after a half time break.
I absolutely love the bond between Justin and my boys!

Good blocking Brayden! Until next year!!!!

The Broncos season comes to an end.

Max had a blast playing flag football this year. Max has perfected intimidating the opponent. He loves to growl at the other team and he gives a really fierce stare down. The Broncos only lost 2 games all season, but who's counting. Max was able to play with some of his good buddies which made the season that much more exciting for him. He had great coaches who helped him have a wonderful time playing football!
The blue paint in the hair was really intimidating!

Max is a leader in team spirit, and this is what we call the "hugg"le.
The "hugg"le also keeps the players together so the coach can talk to them. What a fun year! Max can't wait to play next year!

Kid Grid Football Rocks!!!

What a way to end a season!!! Brayden's Kid Grid team dominated in their last two games. I really wanted Brayden to play another year of flag football - but Justin and Brayden convinced me he was ready for tackle this year, they were right. Brayden is an awesome football player! We are guaranteed at least one post season game, we are so sad to see the season near the end. Football has been beautiful this year, my Saturdays have been amazing watching my boys play football!!! Justin has coached the offensive line-he has done a wonderful job! At the end of each game, Coach Johnson gives out Trojan Pride awards Coach Mecham got one this game! Good Job Justin! Brayden has earned 11 Trojan Pride awards, he has received an award almost every game. Brayden plays both offense and defensive lineman, the only time he really sits is on kick-off and kick-off returns, which originally he did play but he needs some breathing time. We are proud of Brayden and his incredible work ethic and dedication. I knew Brayden was serious about football this season when he started jogging every evening and quit drinking soda. We are proud of you Bray!

Brayden is #46-look at him hold the line!

Here is our offensive line, Brayden is 2nd man to the right of the center. (I know- I am not very good at my football lingo and positions, I'll have Justin and Brayden fix the post later.)
Brayden is in the middle holding his man, which was an X (an X mean he is weighs over 118, and can only play a few positions) so he blocked the biggest man on the team. Go Brayden!!!
Here Brayden is playing defense. Brayden stripped the ball away from Madison and caused a fumble. It was awesome! We recovered the fumble then scored a touchdown on the next play. I get way too excited at these games and can't stand in the bleachers I have to stand away so I can jump up and down etc... Justin even wanted to run out an hug Brayden on this play!

Brayden in the middle of the picture grabbing the football!!!

Above and Below pictures - Brayden is breaking through the line ready to get the QB.

Here Brayden is protecting his QB- #11 so he can get his pass off!
Brayden is in the middle of the picture. The Madison player Brayden lined up againist got really frustrated and started grabbing Brayden's facemask! Go Brayden!
Brayden's #1 fans!
My Boys!
Coach Johnson giving a motivational post game talk. He makes them pause and always remember what it feels like to be a winner. He always says he wants them to be winners and champions in life not just football. Good Job Rigby! Good Job Brayden!!!
