Kenzie's Dance Class.

Kenzie has really enjoyed dance this year, we have our final performance left on Monday then she'll be off for the summer. She has had the opportunity of performing in numerous school assemblies and loves every minute of it. I would think she would get nervous or shy, but not her she loves it. I guess I'll just be the nervous one. She has done a fantastic job! The girls are all excited because their final performance is at the high school. Good Dancin Kenzie! We can't wait until your recital.

Bray the Builder!

This month in scouts we've done some fun projects. Bray has made a catapult(thanks to Grandpa Murray), a birdhouse, and a little tool box. Bray is now a Bear and is really enjoying scouts, he has almost earned his Bear rank. I love being his leader! Justin and I have been able to work together as Bear Leaders for awhile, but he just got called into the Elders Quorum Presidency, but until they replace him he is stuck with us.

Choir Concert

Kenzie has enjoyed participating in a choir program after school. The concert was a lot of fun! They learned a lot of songs from Janeen Brady, we had her cassettes and maybe even records when we were kids. You may remember "I'm a V.I.P", my kids are constantly singing that song now.

Temple Square

Monday we spent the day touring temple square. This is a picture of our family on top of the Conference Center. We had a fun time touring the Conference Center, visiting temple square was a great way to end our spring break.

The flowers looked and smelled so good.

Cute picture of the kids.
We were able to watch the Joseph Smith movie, what a powerful movie. We enjoyed visiting with the missionaries and taking in all the beauty, what a fun day! We truly enjoyed the spirit of temple square.

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Sunday

The weather held out for the train ride-but was too rainy for an egg hunt outside. So we had a boy egg hunt, then a girl egg hunt. The boys were wild and crazy, the girls were quiet and peaceful. The kids all had a great time.

All Aboard!

Saturday we all went and rode the Heber Creeper. We had a fun time! We asked the train conductor which seats were the best-he suggested the outside ones, so we bundled up and enjoyed the view. The following are pictures from our adventure.

After our train ride, we went and ate at Dairy Keen in Heber. It is a fun restaurant with lots of train stuff.
To continue our Train themed day Justin and Jeff went and purchased Ticket to Ride, a fun train game. The adults all enjoyed staying up way too late every night playing the game.

Spring Break

The kids were so excited for Spring Break and Max couldn't wait to spend some time with Brayden and Kenzie. To kick off our spring break we were able to visit Nate, Zack, Aunt Jody. Kenzie is mad at me for forgetting to bring the camera when we had dinner with them. Nate and Zack are awesome cousins and we wish we could see them more. We had a salty dinner and enjoyed visiting with them.

Friday morning we headed to Utah, for an activity filled extended weekend/spring break. We stopped in Bountiful at Five Guys and had a fun lunch before heading to Hogle Zoo!
Perfect weather for a day at the Zoo. It seems like we usually don't go to the Zoo unless it is over 100, so this was very nice weather.
The little guys looking into one of the many cages. They had a fun time running from animal to animal.
Taking a rest!

Kenzie was SO excited to see the elephants-her favorite animal.
The Zoo was a lot of fun. We were able to see a lot of awesome animals, and we ended with a fun train ride around the Zoo. After the Zoo we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Murdoch's to celebrate Big Jeff's B-day!

Conference Weekend

During the Sunday afternoon session of conference we always go for a drive somewhere, it is easier to listen to conference for us in the pickup. The drive was absolutely beautiful, the kids were awesome, and conference was uplifting and motivating.

I love this tradition! The kids actually listened to conference pretty good, Max had a nice nap, and we enjoyed the beautiful view.

Dance! Dance! Dance!

McKenzie has loved dance this year. Kenzie has been learning ballet, jazz, and tap. We are now in middle of all her performances. They have been performing at all the local schools, and their final recital will be at the high school. It has been keeping us busy! Ready to go tap.
Jazz dance-yes she is tall, and yes they are her age.

Kenzie's favorite is ballet! (Well-at least the outfits.)
