Otter Pop Anyone?

What would the summer be like without Otter Pops? Who knows! It is one treat you can feed the neighborhood without breaking the bank. They help cool off the kids when they are playing and count as a good "snack" when everyone is asking. I actually don't care for them myself, another reason they are so easy to hand out. My only question --How do you get all the kids to throw their wrappers away?

Day Trip to Logan!

Last Saturday we were able to make a quick trip to Logan to see our new niece Macy, what a cutie she is! We had a fun day! The kids ALWAYS love a day spent with cousins, I ALWAYS enjoy holding a cute baby, Justin ALWAYS enjoys a round of golf, and we all ALWAYS enjoy a fun dinner with family. All three kids couldn't believe how small Macy is-they loved just looking at her. What a fun Saturday!

Zach and Nate!

The kids had a great time visiting with Nate and Zach! Brayden, Kenzie, and Max all think Nate and Zach are so awesome and have so much fun hanging out with them, we only wish we could spend more time with them and see them more often! Nate spent a couple weeks with Grandma and Grandpa Mecham helping Grandpa Mecham with work. Before they left for home Zach was able to spend the night here, the kids wished he could of stayed A LOT longer. We are thankful for such awesome cousins!

4th of July

What a fun 4th of July weekend our family had. To begin our festivities we worked in our yard Friday afternoon--I even got to drive the big new John Deere tractor. We are just about ready to get our sprinklers in--putting in a yard is a lot of work!
After a day of hard work--we took the kids to the drive-in movie we saw a double feature-Ice Age 3, and Night at the Museum 2. We went with our good friends The Nelson's. Max and I only made it through the first show-we only saw about 5 minutes of the second feature.
We decided to celebrate the 4th at our local community celebration. It was a lot of fun-it was a good small town celebration: softball tournaments, pie eating contest, races, tug-of-war, fish grab, food booths, jumping machines, train rides, parade, and fireworks. My battery died and I only had my phone for pictures.

Max ready to bounce!
McKenzie's dance class had a float in the parade!

Kenzie loved throwing candy and saved some to throw at her brothers.
Tustian and Mecham kids getting ready for the fireworks.

Sunday evening we ended our 4th of July fun by doing our fireworks at home.

Welcome --Macy Amelia Murdoch!!!

Congratulations to Glen, Katherine, Ally, and Isaac! Macy has arrived! She was born July 2, 2009! What a beautiful baby! We can't wait to see her in person! The kids have all asked me to show them the pictures several times! For some reason my kids are all excited because we have 4 boy cousins right now and 4 girl cousins--Jeff and Haley will break the tie later this year. We can't wait to hold and love Macy!!!

What do you do in the Summertime?

Being bored is not something we have been this summer! We are having so much fun! Brayden is full swing into baseball. Kenzie just started soccer! We are about to start swim lessons for all 3 kids. Last night Kenzie and Brayden had soccer and baseball at the same time so we had to split up. I hate missing my kids play! I went to soccer and Justin went to baseball. Justin kept texting me and updating me on Brayden's game and I would let him know how soccer was going. After the games we headed over to a neighborhood block party to watch some fireworks. Fun Times! The summer is going by WAY to0 fast!
Break Time!
Awesome Goalie!
Soccer is a new adventure for the Mecham family. Kenzie is loving it! Blue Fire won their first game 2-0! It was a lot of fun watching her play, Kenzie is pretty coordinated, I think all her dance has helped her with the footwork in soccer. She did great--I was so proud of her!

Good hit Bray! Before we left for soccer we were able to snap a picture of Brayden. He got a good solid hit to the outfield for a single. Good Job Bud!

This year Brayden has enjoyed playing a lot at short-stop. He has done a great job and has a wonderful coach. Nothing like enjoying the summer at the ball parks!

Another Year Older!

How do you like my awesome hamburger and corn on the cob cake?
Thank you to all my family and friends who helped make my birthday so much fun! I had a fantastic weekend and a fabulous day! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Bar J Wranglers

After a fun-filled day at Grand Targhee and Teton Village we headed to dinner with the Bar J Wranglers. What a fun evening! The food was good, the entertainment was hilarous, and the atmosphere was awesome! I wasn't sure how the kids would last through the performance, but they loved it. They were tired coming home, but we all had a VERY fun day!

Teton Village

After lunch at Broulim's we went and explored Teton Village. We checked out all the ski lifts-and Grandpa Murray even saw a moose.

Grand Targhee

My parents came up from Utah to celebrate my birthday, we decided to plan a little adventure for Saturday. We drove up to Grand Targhee and rode the tram up the mountain-enjoyed a beautiful view of the tetons! The kids and adults all had a wonderful time! Perfect weather! Beautiful View, and great company!

Visiting Grandma Glenda

I am so glad the kids got to go see Grandma Glenda while they were in Utah. Grandma Glenda just celebrated her 80th Birthday the weekend before. Every Sunday the Murdoch family that can-gathers at Grandma's house. We don't get to go to Grandma's house very often so I am glad the kids were able to visit.

Mount Timpanogos Temple

Grandma Kathy did a little photo shoot with Kenzie around the temple etc. Grandma wanted some pictures of Kenzie for a Baptism book she is making for her, she made one for Brayden and it is awesome! If your not jealous you should be, these books are awesome, thanks Grandma Kathy for all of your hard work!!!
