Ag Show

Every year Justin takes the kids and I down to the Holt arena to the Ag Show. The kids love it! They climb in and out of every tractor there. Max is a Case International fan (red tractor) and Brayden is a John Deere fan (green). McKenzie is a .....well if they had a pink tractor she would be a fan of it. We had a nice afternoon checking out all the equipment.

We've decided our kids really don't ever need to go to Disneyland - we have the Ag Show!
The kids loved the "sweet" hummer.

Notice the pink Case International hat McKenzie is sporting. Brayden wore his John Deere hat to the show and when the Case salesman saw it he gave McKenzie and Max Case hats. He offered to trade Brayden's John Deere hat for a Case hat. Well---after much thought Brayden wanted a new hat and traded in his John Deere hat. This is the kid who has a John Deere room, and collects all the green tractors. Can you say buyers or traders remorse. He thought Max and Kenzie's new hats were so cool he wanted one also, so he traded. Not 10 seconds after -he told Justin and I he made a bad decission. Well - just as we were leaving we ran into one of our friends who happens to be a John Deere rep. He asked the kids why they were all wearing Case hats. Well-he told Brayden he would hook him up with a new John Deere hat. What a relief this was for Brayden. Until next year Ag Expo....

Frozen Fog?

I'm not sure what you call this stuff, frozen on the trees. I need a meterologist to help me out. Last week we had a lot of fog and everyday all day the trees look like this. I wanted to get a better picture but missed the opportunity. For some reason I love it when the trees freeze like this, especially if the roads have no snow on them and you can truly enjoy their beauty. So much for no snow on the roads-today we woke up to 2 to 4 inches of new snow.

Is Christmas Break Really Over?

We had fun visiting with Grandma and Grandpa Mecham during the break. On our way home from Logan we stopped and had dinner with them in Blackfoot before heading home. Then on Saturday they stopped up for a short visit to see what the kids got for Christmas.

Brayden received an air soft gun for Christmas and even with the below zero temp. he wanted to check it out. We had a fabulous Christmas break, and I am truly sad it is over. My kids were all
sad about going back to school and felt like the holidays cruised on by. Now that school is back in they are all glad to be back with their friends.
Justin just headed to San Antonio, Texas for a business trip. Justin was able to take a week off during Christmas and we loved every minute of it and already miss him. We are looking forward to another exciting year in 2009!

New Years Party in Logan!

We had a fun New Year's Eve/Birthday Party for Grandpa down at Glen and Katherines! Thank You Glen & Katherine for letting us all party in your home! We played lots of games, ate lots of yummy food, and just had lots of fun! The kids just love their cousins! Brayden played a lot with the big boys and loved it.
We were even able to have a girls night New Years Day. We all went and saw Twillight! It was fun just getting out letting the guys watch the kids and going to the movie with my awesome mom and sister-in-laws!
