The Murdoch Family was able to travel down to Manti, Utah in honor of my Grandpa Ralph and his service in World War II. Grandpa was wounded in Iwo Jima. He never received his Purple Heart or the other medals he earned so we thought it was time he received them. My mom did some research and leg work and sent away for his purple heart and other honors he received. A big thank you to my mom who pulled this event together!!! She is awesome!
It was so awesome all being there to show love, support, and respect for my Grandpa. It was very interesting to hear each of my aunts and my Dad tell some of the history and events that occurred to my Grandpa. Grandpa we sure do love you and appreciate your service for our country!
