What an honor and privilege it was for Justin and I to serve as a Ma and Pa on our stake's pioneer trek. We had an amazing time and many testimony building experiences. It is a week we will never forget! The kids in our trek family were amazing and we grew to love and appreciate each one of them. We were able to see the priesthood in action through blessings. Our testimonies of the pioneers were increased ten fold, and we had many faith building experiences. We were able to walk were our ancestors walked and feel of their presence and love. We grew to love and appreciate our trek family and learned something from each one of them. We will forever be grateful for this experience and hope and pray our own children will have the opportunity of going on this trek someday.
