Before Summer slips away - we decided to take one last camping trip to Mackay. We went with The Nelson family and we camped at Chadwick Park with Grandma and Grandpa Mecham. We had great weather, a wonderful time, great hikes, and delicious food. What a great way to end the summer fun!

We all decided we needed to take the kids on a good hike. We packed lunches and prepared for a day hike. We drove up to Copperbasin and decided to hike to Devil's Bedstead. Grandma and Grandpa Mecham and Pam drove the four wheelers up with our food and water on them and the rest of us hiked. It was a long hard hike but he beautiful waterfalls at the end make it all worth it. It is an 8 mile round trip hike. I was really proud of my kids for making the entire hike. We decided we need to go hiking a lot more as a family we loved it.
