Day 8

For our final day on our Southern California Adventure we spent it at San Diego Wild Animal Park. The park is located in Escondido-it was fun driving up there through all the grape orchards and ranches. The Wild Animal Park was a lot of fun, it is a beautiful place. The different animals were all so fun to watch, and the tour we took there was a lot of fun! McKenzie is a huge elephant fan and of course LOVED seeing the baby elephants. It was kinda bitter sweet knowing we were heading home, but what a wonderful vacation we had! Fun, fun, times, great friends, priceless time with the family-we are so glad we were able to go and so blessed to travel safely. I love my family and I love the memories we made on this Adventure!

Do we really have to head home???? I am so thankful for the relationships my children have-we had a lot of fun on our road trip to California. As we hit Southern Utah the bad roads hit, and we had to stop in St. George instead of Cedar City one night because of the road conditions, but slow and steady we made it and had an incredible journey. We even stopped and had lunch at Chick-fil-a with Grandma Kathy. We are grateful for great friends like the Nelson's and the fun adventure we had! With all the days we were gone the kids only missed one day of school, school was closed up here because of severe weather conditions. Until next time!
